Eileen Pena's lawsuit against TRF

So, we know that the faire cannot comment on this pending litigation, but we can certainly talk about it here.

First off, this is not vicious rumor, spicy slander or negative commenting about TRF.  This is a legal action with reported information in the public domain, so TRF can stuff their social media demands in this case.

At the risk of setting the tone for this topic, we do have some commentary:  Misogyny and sexual harassment are big in the news right now (see #METOO) and big money or a blustery attitude will no longer shield the offenders. With that in mind, this news is certainly no surprise. By all accounts, George Coulam has had this coming for some time.

This indeed not at all surprising and not the first wrongful termination suit that TRF has faced in recent years, albeit not for the same circumstances.  A case recently was brought against TRF by a former employee who was terminated after George discovered that said employee's significant other was not of the same ethnicity/race as employee and George was heard in the office making disparaging remarks about said ethnic group prior to employee's termination.  That case settled last year.  George and Terre both were noticed to be deposed, but the case settled shortly thereafter.  Again, it is not at all surprising that this happened.
